Home Away From Home

Typically, you can find me conducting experiments in the labs at Mainiero Hall or out on our all-weather track at Ortmayer Stadium as captain of the distance track team.

Lessons Learned

I am a Biology major with the intention to pursue medicine for my career. I have always been fascinated by science and love conducting experiments. The biology program allows me to complete all the prerequisite courses needed to attend medical school while continually challenging myself academically. Outside of the classroom, I participate in an internship through COPE Health Scholars, which provides me healthcare experience by assisting medical staff in caring for patients.

Good Eats

I love grabbing some treats with my teammates at Miss Donuts, which is just a few minutes’ walk from campus.

What is the best way to make new friends at University of La Verne?

University life allows you to explore new things as a college student. Joining different clubs and organizations has allowed me to expand my social circle and interact with other students outside of my major. The small-scale environment of University of La Verne ensures you won’t get lost in a sea of students and has provided me opportunities to hold leadership positions and impact student life.
